Some may say geo-cachers are goofy, but of course we are not.  This easy cache gives you an opportunity to visit a truly goofy individual.

No direct access from HWY 20! Stay on the PAVED road to within 10 feet of the cache! Please, no bushwhacking!

People who have lived on Whidbey Island for awhile may recall that until 2008 the area near Deception Pass State Park looked really different than it does now.    Then in one of the first steps making the road safer, widening and adjusting the roadway, WSDOT bought the old Deception Pass Grocery Store (now called something else) and adjoining miniature golf course near Cornet Bay Road.

This cache lets you see a goofy remnant of times past, and gives you a different viewpoint. Do be sure to look for Goofy.

No vegation needs to be disturbed to retrieve this cache. Your feet stay on the pavement.This should be a park and grab.

Please seek this cache during daylight hours only. Please replace and re-hide well so this cache does not disappear again.
