CROCODILE
This cache is hidden just off the old Lower River Road. The road ends and is blocked to vehicles due to the road sliding into the river in areas. It is a good paved path, formerly the road, with cottonwood trees, blackberry bushes, and sweet peas in the summertime. On the east side of the path, you can see the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge. We saw Osprey and a lot of Garter Snakes. Watch out for the Crocodile!
Cache location: You won't see the cache from the level path, but will have to climb down towards the river a little bit to access the cache. During the rainy season, the terrain might be closer to 3.5-4. This is a relatively easy find, if you use your geo-senses. Due to tree cover, coordinates may be off a few feet. On the River side of the path/road, NOT in refuge!
Do not drop off trackables here, but do have them visit!! Please bring a trash bag with you and do a little community service...Cache In, Trash Out! Thanks!!
