Geocache Description:

With this cache, I would like to present the old town Vrbnik, located on the tall cliffs of the East coast of the island Krk, Croatia.
Vrbnik is perfectly representative of a typical Mediterranean town, with its clustered and narrow streets, polished cobble, networks of households, mostly unrepaired walls dating back several centuries previously, multiple private wine stores and cellars, thick and green coastal flora, and finally, a stunningly wonderful view towards the Adriatic sea.

The town dates all the way back to the 12th century. Much about Vrbnik's history can be found out from the official blue-and-green information posts scattered across the old parts of the town, identifying different facts about the buildings they are palced at. In such a way they identify the tiny doorway on the south of the old town (just a couple of streets away from the cache location), which appeared due to the town's expansion; one of the world's narrowest streets; the parish church and the church tower; and of course many other interesting spots.

The cache you are looking for is located at an archway/tunnel of one of the smaller streets in the town, merging with the Eastern-most pedestrian-only street which overlooks the coastline and the sea.

IMPORTANT: I kindly ask you to place the cache back firmly into its spot and conceal it well with the same objects. This will help prolong the 'lifetime' of the original cache box.

I must apologize for the inconvenience to those geocachers who could not find find the cache due to faulty coordinates. Unfortunately, there is little I can do to improve this situation, as none of my GPS devices are strong enough to pick up a more precise signal amidst the buildings on this narrow street. I must therefore stress the importance of the "LOCATION" photo provided for finding the cache location.
