With this cache, I'd like to invite you to discover Vrbnik, a tiny and picturesque medieval town located on the tall cliffs of the East coast of the island Krk, Croatia.
Vrbnik perfectly represents a typical Mediterranean town, with its stunning cliff-side view of the Adriatic sea, clustered and narrow streets, polished cobble, maze-like networks of households, old stone walls, many private wine stores and cellars, and thick green coastal flora.
The town dates all the way back to the 12th century. Much about Vrbnik's history can be gathered from the official blue-and-green information boards located near noteworthy historical buildings and other points of interests. If you have time to explore, try finding: one of the world's narrowest streets; the tiny doorway on the south of the old town (just a couple of streets away from the cache location); the parish church and the church tower; and many other interesting spots.
Take a walk along the outermost streets of the old town to take in the breathtaking panoramic view of the bay and the cliffs below you (in the North) and the coastline view across lush green gardens overlooking the sea (in the East). Dive into the quiet side streets, shaded and peaceful even in the summer months. Go for a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the bay and check out the not-so-secret Secret Beach tucked between the cliffs. Grab a glass of Vrbnička žlahtina, the local wine - if you came to Vrbnik by road, you should have passed the beautiful vineyards growing on Vrbničko polje.
The cache you are looking for is located under an archway/tunnel on one of the quieter, more private streets of the old town. The street merges with the Eastern-most pedestrian street overlooking the coastline.

IMPORTANT: I kindly ask you to place the cache back firmly into its spot and conceal it well with the same objects. This will help prolong the 'lifetime' of the cache box.
ACCESSIBILITY:
Shortest walking distance from the main public parking spot to the cache is 4 minutes / 260m.
- Public parking spot is right at the entrance to the old town.
- The bay/beach however is below the cliff on which the old town stands, so if you're not inclined to walk, you may want to explore the town first and then re-park your car/transport down in the bay before going swimming.
- The cache's immediate location should be accessible by stroller or wheelchair, as long as it can handle this kind of town architecture (cobblestone streets, curbs, some moderate uphill/downhill).
