Q5 Welcome to Hometown Junction, a great place to go when you’re feeling patriotic or if you want to know why Verona is called Hometown USA. The serviceman who inspired the phrase “Hometown USA” is named Donald; add up the number of letters in his last name to learn I. The Verona Chamber of Commerce adopted the title Hometown USA in 1DEH, and celebrates Hometown USA Day on June (B +1). Special thanks go to Chapter F of the Wisconsin Vietnam Veterans for dedicating this monument to All Veterans and their families.
During spring and summer you will get your cardio workout doing the Mosquito Shuffle. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to C.Delkamp, Military Ridge State Trail Manager of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouce managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
For the first to find, I have provided two grade-A, premium, top-of-line--- Used Golf Balls. -----Hey, the cache is crammed with trackables, including two NEW Geocoins (you could be first to discover!), three trackables that are being re-re-released, a 2007 Unite For Diabetes Geocoin, a Travel Bug, and a Travel Ingot.
The final cache is a special container created at a local Geocaching Camp. Thanks to Team Pantano for providing the container. This is a Tail Sweep Triplets (TST) Cache and ideal for kids. Good luck!!!
