Geocache Description:

A micro container in Amazing view.

Shum Wan Shan (沈雲山) is a small hill located at the east of Kowloon. With a height of 177m, you may not spot it on map easily. The word "Shan" means hill or peak in Cantonese. Shum Wan Shan (沈雲山) and its north-west neighbour Ping Shan (平山) together formed the Jordan Valley (佐敦谷). Looking at the north-east from the hill, you can find Tai Sheung Tok (大上托) (Anderson Road Quarry 安達臣道石礦場), Shun Tin Estate (順天村) is located between them. At the north, there are Shun Lee Estate (順利村), Shun On Estate (順安村) and Kowloon Peak (飛鵝山); while at the south, there are Crocodile Hill (鱷魚山) and Ngau Tau Kok (牛頭角).

Sham Wan Shan (沈雲山) is also one of the Shui Tong Shan (水塘山) where service reservoir with leisure facilities are usually built. Kwun Tong High Level Fresh Water Service Reservoir (觀塘上食水配水庫) and Kwun Tong High Level Salt Water Service Reservoir (觀塘上海水配水庫) maintained by Water Supplies Department are located at its top. Leisure and Cultural Services Department has built Kwun Tong High Level Reservoir Garden (觀塘上配水庫花園) to support leisure activities there. Muggles love to have morning exercises on its running path and fly kites nearby. If you come to the garden before sunset, I am sure you would have an unforgettable moment of Kowloon Peak. The garden is also a perfect place for enjoying fireworks at the Victoria Habour. When the Kai Tak Airport was in used, the garden was also a hot spot for watching planes land and take off.

A magnetic cache is located somewhere at this location. The container is only fit for a log sheet. Please bring your own pen. After grabbing the cache, please put it back to its original position.

How to arrive:
You can take the route from Shun Lee Tsuen Road (順利村道) at the north, or from Chun Wah Road (振華道) at the south (opposite to Lok Wah Estate Community Centre 樂華社區中心) then walk along Chun Wah Road Morning Trail (振華 道晨運徑) to the top. Recommend taking the route from Chun Wah Road (振華道).
