Beeortoise: Perhaps it washed away during Matthew. Many of the logs for this cache complained about trash being nearby, yet no one seemed to mention wanting to a little cito to make the place nicer. Thanks for all who visited, especially the people that enjoyed this scenic boardwalk to a beautiful beach.

Geocache Description:

An easy cache at the entrance to the Ocean Hammock Park on Anastasia Island.

Welome to the Ocean Hammock Park. Originally known as the Freeman Tract, this park was recently opened to allow access to the beach via a boardwalk through natural coastal swampland. A parking area is available from 6am to 8pm. A park is in works on the other side of A1A as well.

We placed this cache with the intention that some people will walk the length of the boardwalk out to a scenic view of the ocean.
Travis picked the spot where the cache is located. We hope everyone enjoys the view and the walk as much as we do.

The container is a small lock and lock, Please use some stealth as this is a path well traveled.
