History is constantly unfolding on top of Bixby Hill in Long Beach. I walk past secrets everyday wondering about the hidden treasures on this historic ranch. A land of talking trees whispering "If you hide it, they will come". Be ready to venture into the past, but first you must get past the watchful eye of the Gatekeeper. He could always be found at the entrance gate. Approach with a plan and tell the Gatekeeper the secret password, "Going to the Rancho". Afterwards, CHECK-IN at the VISITOR'S CENTER and let them know that you will be strolling the gardens. PLEASE, PLEASE STAY ON THE PATH and keep the creek to your back this is a historical site not a park. The LOG only cache is in plain view. Holds very small travel bugs or coins. Bring a camera & post a creative picture of the Rancho. Permission was granted, so please walk softly upon this land. For further see: www.rancholosalamitos.org. Check website to confirm driving directions & hours of operation.
Please do not place candy, toys, trinkets, etc in this cache. Travelbugs or travel coins only!!!
