The Marine Park Salt Marsh is one of the great wonders of Brooklyn. I am privileged to live within a block of this majestic landmark and wanted to make your visit here just a bit more interesting. There are many trails leading in and out of the marsh. This cache is a micro cache hidden at the start of one of these unofficial trails near the main entrance.
The cache is small. I've used an old pill container. Inside, you'll find is a log to sign, a tiny pencil and some swag. The cache is difficult to find and you'll have to look for one of the few possible areas nearby the main entrance where a very small item (about three inches) can be hidden. The cache will be hard to find but if you take one of these unofficial trails you'll be treated to some rare Brooklyn scenery. My children and I literally walked all over the marsh looking for the perfect spot to hide this cache. I hope you have as much fun finding it as we did placing it.
