Following my enjoyments and frustrations of solving/finding puzzle caches recently, I felt it was about time I return the favour with my own set of fun and frustrations!
This cache is loosely linked to my geocaching name of 'alflavor' - in that I mean I work in the flavour industry as a designer or flavourist as we're called. This cache is going to be fairly straightforward if you're also a flavourist. If you're not then, have fun! The difficulty rating is based primarily upon the puzzle aspect of the cache.
To solve the cache you need to find: N52 AB.CDE W000 0F.GHI
Here is a list of some things that have a flavour, but what might be making them taste that way?
CINNAMON
LEMON MYRTLE
PEAR DROPS
BEETS
ROSE OIL
VINEGAR
BREAD CRUST
WOOD SMOKE OR COFFEE
CLOVE
Once you have the final co-ordinates, then the cache itself is a small gold tin with a log sheet, pencil and geocaching card. Room for small swaps, maybe a trackable or two. Please take care finding and especially replacing the cache. The final location is near a house/business but is on a public piece of land and there is plenty of tree cover to enable you to geocache discreetly and sensibly!
