Geocache Description:

An easy cache situated on a quiet country road. Although it's a quiet lane, you do get the occasional fast moving vehicle, so take care.

BLUNDELL HOUSE

Blundell House is an architecturally striking building on Dicconsons Lane in Downholland. Originally built in 1934 as a water treatment works, it is still owned and maintained by United Utilities.

This building has been a landmark for years with road cyclists, being situated on a quiet country road at the foot of Clieves Hills, a popular small hill climb giving worthwhile views back across 'the moss' and out towards the coastline and Wales.

NOTE: The cache is NOT situated within the Blundell House grounds (Private), but close-by instead. Ample parking should be available. Congratulations to Avos72 on being the FTF!! :)
