Geocache Description:

This cache is in a location that had a nice view of Hesper & Luther Little when they were around. This cache is to keep the memory of these icons alive and to educate ones who were not aware of their existence.

Cache is NOT at listed co-ordinates. Solve puzzle after history.

Hesper & Luther Little

The Hesper & The Luther Little where two schooners abandoned in the Sheepscot River in Wiscasset, ME in 1932. They came to Wiscasset when Frank W. Winter bought them for $600 each. He wanted to repair them to use to ship lumber to Boston, MA and return with coal. A watchman lived in the Luther Little and did some repairing until 1936. Mr. Winter passed on before his plan could come true. Over time the ships broke down, due to fire and weather, until they were finally removed in 1998. Before their removal they were two of the four last masted ships built in New England.

Cache is a Lock and Lock container

Cache location may be dangerous with little ones as there is water and an active railway nearby. Please be cautious.

Parking can be found around the village, so I did not include any parking waypoints, but there is definitely plenty of parking around. During the summer parking may be more scarce, but it is definitely available.

This is my first cache placement. I had a lot of fun creating it and I hope you have as much fun solving it as well as visiting this historic site.

FTF prize is a brand new electronic blackjack game (In ziplock because packaging was too large for container and other swag).
