This walk shouldn't take more than an hour for the return trip... So park your vehicle at the parking spot indicated... and head to the track entrance nearby... Careful crossing the road as vehicles come down the hill pretty fast...
The trail follows the valley next to the river... The Track has been maintained very well so you shouldn't find this too difficult. You will enjoy the views along the way
Waihaha Valley
The track does continue up over to the Waihaha Hut if you are feeling adventurous... That walk would take you around 6 hours according to the sign at the trailhead. Maybe I will put a cache up there to motivate you...
The cache is a small Systema with log and a few small items.
A good walk to stretch your legs and you can enjoy one of my favourite valleys as well.
