The cache is located in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve near the Bear Island Bridge over the Seymour River. The bridge, open for cyclist and pedestrian travel, is located just downstream of the Seymour Falls Dam, and connects the Spur 4 road (not open to public vehicle traffic) to the trail network adjacent to the Seymour Fish Hatchery. To get to the Bear Island Bridge you will need to drive up Lillooet Road past Capilano University until you get to the parking lot at the top of Lillooet Road and then either bike, walk or run a 12 km trail to the bridge and nearby fish hatchery. The trail is paved for the first 10 km and turns into a well maintained gravel trail for about 2 km through majestic old growth forest.
The LSCR is open 365 days a year, from dawn to dusk.
