The beautiful South Mountain range is clearly visible to the southwest.
I could have called this one the mile high cache. At 5500 ft it's at the highest elevation along the Flint Road. There are also several nice views from this high point, in particular, the South Mountain range directly across the valley to the southeast.
The cache site is slightly off of the main road. At or near where the road goes over a summit (see waypoint), take a side road north a short distance up the hill. You can park within a short walk to the cache.
Although the cache is an average size, the storage cavity is small; not room for much besides the log & pencil. So I'm breaking the tie and am calling it a regular size. When replacing it, please orient it to be most protected from the elements.
