The cache is on the final trek to Teneriffe (via the new Teneriffe trail). The route up to this peak is quite steep, but less steep than the Kamikaze trail. This cache is near the top of the peak.
Getting to this cache will require a long hike up some former logging roads or a very steep climb up the Kamikaze trail. I did the hike as a loop using both trails. The roundtrip hike took seven hours total for me, of course this will vary for others. The cache is hidden in a common spot and shouldn't be too hard to find. This was one of the few spots on the hike where I did not have cell reception. It was also very quiet here, which was cool. Have fun but be careful.
