CelloFellow: I think it's time to say goodbye to Season 2. I hope you all enjoyed.

(Sorry for late responce to the surveys, I kind of "lost" them, but are now found, and I'm ready to say the results.) I am incuding surveys by diner and email. Here are the results:

Geocache Description:

  This is Season 2 of Amazing Race, and this year it is in Eisenhower Park. The race will take place at Sunday, September 23rd at 10:30 am, please be here at 10.


 

Amazing Race is a tv show where teams race around the world and have a chance at winning 1 million dollars. I've given it a geocaching twist. (If you were here last year, we were at John J Burns / Marjorie Post Park.) The first team to complete the race by finding all of the geocaches and with all of the correct code words1 will win a prize. (The geocaches are for the race only.) The prize will be a numual prize and NOT one million dollars! (Just to be clear.) The race should be a little over an hour long.

     This year, there will not be a barbeque. Instead, we will go to the Spartan Diner for lunch after the race. Spartan Diner is located at 1580 Broadhollow Rd/Rt.110, Farmingdale, NY. (It's at the corner of Conklin and Rt.110.)

     I am hoping to have 10-12 teams with 2-5 people in them. If you are not sure what team to be on, just post a will attend stating that you need a team. Make sure that your will attend logs are a week before because I need the right amount of materials.
    
     Note: WATCH WHERE YOU WALK. You may want to bring:

- a gps
- writing utensils
- clipboard/flat surface
- water
- extra paper

     At the pit stop (final) at least two people need to be on the mat and show their code words. (Look below) Then, if you want, either my mom, dad, or brother can act as taxis and drive you back to the parking lot.
 

1 Code words is something not in Amazing Race. On each clue it will say "Code Word" with a word. You can not win if you don't record code words. (It's proving you were at the location, and you didn't cheat.)
