Part of a series of caches I'll be placing in Glasgow to share some of my childhood memories. Thanks to CJDL and Clachanman who have agreed to be local maintainers if I can't get down to carry out maintenance.
Named Queens View after Queen Victoria actually walked here during one of her many jaunts throughout Scotland. Cache is close to some memorial or marker but I have no idea what for as there is no info on it, apart from some graffiti.
Childhood memory- my parents took us for a walk up the Queens View to the Whangie when we where pretty young. Half way up the path was a small lamb just sitting. We clapped it and started crying because they wouldn't let us take it home. Then my mum took our side and was asking my Dad if we couldn't just keep it. I won't tell you what his response was.
