Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of six caches along a sea-front cycle-path and taking in a slight detour through a nature reserve.

The cache is located just off the promenade in Kinmel Bay which has a fine, north-facing, sandy beach which is beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. On sunny days there are lots of families and professional kite flyers.

Along the sand dunes you will see the beautiful blue sea holly - this protected dune plant was believed to be an aphrodisiac in Elizabethan times!!

Kinmel Dunes nature reserve is to the other side of the promenade and there is a nice view along the coast from here. The walk to collect all six caches is just under a mile long and these caches are the first ones we have set.

The cache containers are various sizes and you may find it handy to bring a pen/pencil and some tweezers with you.
Hope you enjoy them
