Beary Trail Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

A steady walk up towards Beary Mountain with Spectacular Views accross the Island.

Good parking can be found in the Tynwald shopping carpark off the Poor Town Road. From here head accross the wooden foot bridge towards the shoppig complex and then turn left up the one way road to its junction with the A3 (TT Course). Directly opposite you will see a 'Green Lane' off road track. Take care crossing the road and once on the trail turn right and head upwards. The track heads steadily upwards from this point for about half a mile before reaching flatter ground and spectacular views accross the West and central Southern part of the Island as you reach the cache location. The climb up to the cache is fairly strenuous and mainly consists of rocky uneven track that can be very wet when raining. Someone with reasonable fitness could fit this cache in around 40 minintes from the car and backparked at this location.

The cache is a small tube shape water tight container, black in colour. There is only enough room for a log and pencil. Please note, although just off the main rocky trail this cache is not within the boundaries or gates of any adjacent fields which are privately owned. No climbing is required and the cache is easily accessible.
