DID YOU ENJOY THE ALPHANUMERIC CACHE NAME CHALLENGE? TOO EASY? TRY THIS ONE!
To successfully accomplish the AlphaNumeric Cacher Name Challenge you must find and log caches by 36 different geocachers. Each geocacher's name must start with a different alphanumeric character, "A" through "Z" and "0" through "9." Special characters at the beginning of the geocacher’s name are ignored, therefore the very first "A" though "Z" or "0" through "9" is counted. For example, a geocacher named "#86" would count as a name starting with "8".
In addition, only original cache owner names count. Names of cachers that placed the cache or adopted the cache will not count, only the names of the original cache owners.
Create a public bookmark list called “AlphaNumeric Cacher Name Challenge”. Keep this bookmark public for a minimum of 1 month after completing the challenge. Each time you find one of the 36 required caches, bookmark it. And in addition, edit each bookmark entry to show the cacher name. I don't want to have to click on 36 entries to verify all the cacher names.
OR optionally, there is now a challenge checker to help with solving this challenge. You can access it through Project-GC at Project-GC Challenge checker:
Search for the word "alphanumeric" to find the checkers. This challenge checker, "GC4WFR6 - Alphanumeric Challenge CO NJ Edition (United States)," also works for this challenge. If you meet the challenge requirements it produces a list of qualifying caches you can copy-and-paste into your log, and if you do not, let's you know what to target.
The listed terrain rating reflects only the rating of this final cache. The difficulty 4.5 reflects the difficulty of the challenge itself (not of this cache). BYOP.
