A nano cache located close to the start of the Old Newtownards Canal at the edge of Strangford Lough at one of the bridges where the canal passes under the Portaferry Road and Old Shore Road.
Twice a day Strangford Lough reaches full tide which then flows into the Old Newtownards Canal. It's certainly no Venice but when I was placing the cache, there was a family of ducks paddling about below GZ.
There is ample parking nearby at The Floodgates (see additional waypoint).
The cache itself is a standard magnetic nano though the magnet is not in use.
