Geocache Description:

Passenger vehicles only! NO Campers, NO RVs, NO Trailers, NO Oversized Vehicles, NO large trucks, No Busses, No vehicles of 7,500 pounds or more. No white knuckle drivers. Parking is extremely limited and the road is narrow. The main road here was the railroad bed for the Hetch Hetchy system. Although the tracks have been removed, it’s easy to imagine where the railroad was. "Hetch Hetchy Railroad right of way was blasted out of the cliffs almost 2000 feet above the Tuolumne River. A few newly hired trainmen were known to walk right off the job after passing this area on their first trips!" [Hetch Hetchy and its Dam Railroad] There are steeper cliffs closer to Hetch Hetchy, but the road here gives a unique feeling (and great views). Please take note of the unique guard “rail” in places west of this cache. Looks like it could stop a train. Limited parking is available about 100 yards either side of the cache area (waypoints provided) (the best parking is area 1). Make sure your vehicle is clear of the road as there is more traffic on this road than it seems. The cache is a fake rock. Do not go over the cliff, it's not there. It should be easy to find. Bring your own writing implement. Congratulations to pa-11trent for FTF.
