This is another Sporting Memory cache placed along the Amy Gillett bikeway.

5 times World Champion Mick Doohan is a worthy recipient and possibly some of his records may never be repeated.

Mick was World Champion 5 times in 5 consecutive years... 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 riding a Honda.

In 1997 Mick created 4 World records... these being
Most 500cc grand prix wins in season - 12

Most 500cc successive pole positions - 12
