This cache will bring you to the front door of the Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County and is hidden with permission from the museum staff. You are looking for a micro container located outside the museum. It can be found anytime, but try to visit during opening hours so you can check out the exhibits. Admission is free!
The Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County occupies the former Carnegie Library, which opened in 1902 and was the first in Indiana to be built with funding from Andrew Carnegie's library initiative. A marker out front commemorates the building's history. In 2005 a new public library was opened across the street, and a museum was opened in the grand old Carnegie Library. The museum documents the history and contemporary life of Montgomery County through permanent and temporary exhibits.
The Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm. Parking is available in the museum lot or on the street.
