Geocache Description:

Though on the edge of an urban environment, this living memorial is part of the 16 acre Prairie View Park in Morton Grove.

Twenty trees have been planted here to honor Morton Grove residents who have given their lives during service in the U. S. Military.  This living memorial provides a place to sit in the shade of the trees planted to remember the veterans. Bronze plaques recognize the patriots honored here.  This cache contains a brochure on the history of this memorial, a log sheet and items for trade.
