Another river walk this time the little known River Eau from Scotter.
A small plastic container with FTF Cert, log sheet, no pen or pencil.
Parking available at start of footpath opposite the River Trent. Don't forget to collect bonus coordinates. However if you do forget or miss them, on your walk back you may find a spot where you would most probably have hidden the bonus cache.
Wellies needed during wet weather. As yet grass not mown, therefore hard going.
Not many use this footpath along the banks of the River Eau, great walk to get some peace and quiet.
Spotted Great Crested Grebes, Swans, Greylag Geese, Canada Geese with four young, even a Marsh Harrier further on.
Plenty of evidance of livestock but no sign of any today.
Very relaxing walk over uneven ground.
Get out there and enjoy.
