Patrick's Place Traditional Cache

This cache is located in Telluride ski resort on Village Trail at the half way point. It is close to a stream.
We hid this Geocache in memory of Patrick Orion Mullen who died in a car accident on March 9, 2012 at the age of 29. At the time of his death, he was living in Alaska where he worked as an archaeologist. Patrick enjoyed spending time with his family in Telluride where he did what he said he was born to do -- ski. He was always up for an adventure whether it be ice climbing, backcountry skiing or scaling high peaks. We hope this Geocache will inspire others to follow their passions and dreams and live life to its fullest just as Patrick did every day of his life.
