Geocache Description:

The International 500 Snowmobile Race draws thousands from all over every year.  Started in 1969, click the following link for more history on the race http://www.i-500.com/I-500_Home_of_the_Internation_I-500_Snowmobile_Race/History.html

There are many acres of woods near the I-500 race track.  I found a location for the cache in the woods near the hill where you would watch the race.  I discovered LSSU also has a meteorologist lab in the area.  You will have a nice view of the International Bridge and I-75.  The container is 1.2 qt made hard plastic with a locking lid.
