Geocache Description:

This quaint miniature village, located at 6712 Highway 638, between Echo Bay and Bruce Mines, is a work of love in progress, by Bill Fuller. Recreated historical buildings include firehall, hotel, water-wheel-powered mill, barn, mine, church, schoolhouse etc. representing pioneer structures of the late 1800's.  These lighted buildings are quite impressive at night as well.

Cache consisting of a large size, screw-top, plastic bottle containing logbook, pencil and trade items, is located inside a pioneer house mounted at adult reachable height on a large conifer tree, near the front of the property, adjacent to the highway. UNLATCH and open the door to remove the cache.

Visitors are welcome, but please respect the beautiful workmanship by not leaning on, climbing on or attempting to open the doors or windows of the other village buildings.  Please supervise your children and watch out for the family pooch who may scare visitors unaccustomed to a barking dog.
This cache is definitely all-season-friendly.
Hoodwinks Hollow Miniature Village website provides a wonderful history of the hamlet including photos. http://www.freewebs.com/hoodwinkshollow/
