Hawera Water is an Iconic landmark That can be seen for many miles around and has Navagational lights on the top to warn
aircraft.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN It was built in 1913 for the purpose of storing water in a tank at the top.
Entry fee is now $2.50 P.P
You will need to enter the I site to get access to the Tower.

Hawera has a population of about 10,000 people in the greater Hawera area.
The view from the top is good and it can be done on a wet day as it is all under cover.

THE HOURS THEY ARE OPEN ARE USUALLY FROM 10AM TO 4 PM EXCEPT WEEKENDS WHEN IT MIGHT BE A BIT EARLIER. PLEASE TAKE NO NOTICE OF THE OPENING HOURS OUTSIDE, IT WILL COST $2 FOR ADULTS TO ENTER PLEASE TAKE YOUR OWN PEN.
