This geocache is hidden at the end of the Stueck Nature trail which heads West from the Motherwell Homestead National Historic Site.
It is a medium sized twist-top container. The new container (placed May 17, 2014) is camoed and should be out of muggle sight if hidden exactly as found.
The Stueck Nature Walk opened May 20, 2012. Information about the trail is located on various signs down the trail and also on a sheet in the cache.
When you get to the Homestead, please park in the designated parking area. There is no entry fee to the trail. Do not walk straight to the cache but rather please follow the groomed gravel trail which heads straight West of the parking lot and then curves around the pond. The trail will end before GZ and the viewing dock so from there you will have to use common sense. Please do not walk on the farm land that borders the trail and do not enter the water. This may seem like a lot of instruction but it is for the benefit of complying to the agreement between the trail managers and land owners.
I would recommend taking bug spray during appropriate months and also wearing shoes appropriate for walking on loose gravel. Be aware of wildlife and also farm machinery that may be working in the area.
I would not recommend hunting for this cache while there is any significant amount of snow on the ground.
