Geocache Description:


This cache contains a clue for a cache I'll be hiding in the future. You'll want to write down the clue so that you won't need to return.


We have placed this cache as a thank you to gnome#4, who has hidden so many great caches in these mountains and valleys. His caches brought us up to this abandoned mining camp last year, and we couldn't wait to come up again and explore some more.

This cache is placed just inside the entrance of one of the abandoned mine shafts. To get to this cache, you'll need to go to N 49° 56.682 W 123° 24.906 (Gnome on the Rage # 6). Then take the road going down to the right. After a while the trail will get quite closed in and harder to follow. We placed some pink flagging tape, but it probably won't last long.

Eventually, you will come to a large mine opening. To your left is a bank. When we were there, it had an old aluminum ladder on the bottom half of it. Go down that bank, and continue on to find the smaller mine entrance. When you face the mine, the cache is on your right-hand side, immediately in the rock opening, and behind a piece of wood with an orange dot on it.
