In this grave, the first in Morris Cemetery, lies a Confederate soldier. On his way home at the end of the war, and very ill, he stopped at the William Morris home, near here. There he died, without revealing his name.
there are 6 other unknown soldiers 5 more confederate soldiers and 1 union soldier. My heart was warmed to see the headstones that were replaced and in good condition. take a moment sign the log and then pay your respects . the cache is loaded with some small trinkets as well as a trackable coin that i picked up there is a pen and a log good luck
