Geocache Description:


This cache is located at the former site of the Eureka General Store on CR 316. Long time locals may remember and miss the old wooden floored store which stocked a little bit of everything and doubled as a gathering spot to swap hunting and fishing stories. That all came to an abrupt end when one night some fifteen years ago the store mysteriously burned to the ground. Now the only thing there is an overgrown vacant lot with a few pine trees and the cement island where the gas pumps once stood. Some weekends the paved area is used for yard sales making it next to impossible to cache but during the week the "Store" should be muggle free. Tweezers will be most helpful for retrieving the log. Parking is available within ten feet of the container.
