Geocache Description:


This is the very southern-most portion of Wanasing Beach. To the north, you're looking out towards Lake Winnipeg. To the east and south, it's Traverse Bay, into which the Winnipeg River empties. This should be a quick winter-friendly find but it does blends in well. Watch for beach-going muggles in the summer. Recommend following the path all the way to the beach and then cutting back into the trees from there.

The cache is not in the restricted area of Victoria Beach so you do not have to leave your vehicle in the parking lot during the summer months. However please take note of the parking restrictions. See the attached waypoints for parking information and trailhead location.

Please note that bikes are very much encouraged throughout the municipality, but off-road vehicles are not.
If you are cycling along the highway, please be cautious in traffic.


Attributes listing for paperless caching: No motorized vehicles, parking is available (see waypoints), winter-friendly, available 24 hours a day, bikes allowed, dogs allowed, watch for poison plants, ticks, and mosquitos, not wheel chair accessible, may require wading, available at all times, stealth required, no public transportation available, no camping allowed, heed the "No Parking" signs (year-round).
