This area has a prolific growth of fragrant Wild Sweet Peas growing in late spring and summer. The terrain rating is because of the plant matter to traverse to get close to the cache site. This is a cool area you can almost drive right into.
Wild Sweet Peas are edible and evidence of consumption by humans dates back to 9000 year BC++. Asia, NW India and Afghanistan are credited as being the main centre of peo development with a secondary area of development being in plateaus and mountaineous regions of Ethopia. The field pea was one of the earliest food crops cultivated by man but initially they were used as a dried staple. It wasn't until the Middle Ages that the Chinese considered the pea a fresh vegetable rather than a dried comodity and began to consume the entire pod.
The cache is hidden 'under something' man made.
