Part of a series of caches I'll be placing in Glasgow to share some of my childhood memories. Thanks to CJDL and Clachanman who have agreed to be local maintainers if I can't get down to carry out maintenance. Let's hope they can find it.
Childhood memory - Auchengillan used to be a scout camp and I had many a camp here. I remember at the father and son camp, a few of the fathers decided to escape and go to the Carbeth Inn for a pint. While they were walking past the cache site, they stuck there hand out for a lift to a passing car. The car stopped and it was the comedian Billy Connolly. He had a chat and signed some autographs. I also remember walking down from the camp to "the Wee Shop". Anyone else remember this?
