A spectacular short walk on the Waikato River Trail
Park behind Power House (across the Dam from highway), then follow the well developed River Trail beside the Waikato then up an enchanting bushy valley to higher ground.
The distance to the cache is about 1.5km, and unless going further up this trail, walking is preferred (bikers have to negotiate a number of flights of steps is this first short distance).
Cache is at a spot with views south to the Dam and north along the river.
