Well Found (by some) Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
There are numerous paths through the mine woods. The cache is located above the lower path (next to the road) on an elevated lump of rock with a wee cliff facing the road. There is an easy track to GZ if you search - no need to climb the cliff.
Where the paths split at a wee cliff is where you will find the cache. The cache is in full view
The Copper mines here have been in operation from early in the 17th century when it is said to have produced "50 of ane 100 of the ore; besides that, of silver to the value of an $100 ster., and to the value of $200 ster. it affords of gold".
How did they find the Copper and Silver ores? How did they know where to dig?
Don't you think it was well found?
Please return the cache as found
