This cache has been archived.

-allenite-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email) within the next 30 days, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed with the permission of the City of Milan

Michigan is probably most recognized as the world’s hub of the automotive industry. It would be a good assumption that nearly every town in Southeast Michigan has a statue, building or some other memorabilia that recognizes the car industry. Within Milan are buildings from the Ford Village Industries. This building was built in the early 1900s as a gristmill, and then was purchased by Henry Ford in 1935, when at that time it was used for processing soybeans to make paint for Model Ts.
