A stop and find
These trees are quite interesting, not entirely sure why they were planted here, but they are completely different to the other surrounding vegetation of the area. This place would make for a fantastic park if the local council decided it to be so, but as it is it's just another green zone.
Easy access, may be muddy.
From Huurtle: I believe these trees were part of the old township which was here a long time ago, before the resevoir was built and filled! I remember the last building being across Happy Valley drive in the clearing there, right where Windebanks road meets. It was a community hall, but looked like a country shed. They removed it when the cyclone fence went up, after realigning the drive away from resevoir to where it is now.
