Reflecting on Salisbury Downs Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Seek3rs: Thanks for the notification inspicio.
I had tossed up .... do I try putting this one back out again or not? (given that it has been replaced about 4 times) .... In the end, I've decided that I wont. Time to look for a new location, a new hide, something different.... so I will archive this cache.

It was fun for my first hide ... now time to come up with another hide.

Geocache Description:

Wanted to take some time and reflect on Salisbury Downs.

Went to Wikipedia for some help reflecting and it has the huge entry of
“Salisbury Downs is a suburb located in the City of Salisbury, Adelaide, South Australia.
Salisbury Downs Post Office opened on 8 July 1991”

After being overwhelmed by amount of detail here, and its only claim to fame (according to Wikipedia)  being a post office opening, maybe I’ll just reflect on the GZ location.

At GZ – there is an interesting mix of the old and the new.

A neighbouring property has chickens, sheep and goats in a fenced area.
Over to the other side, at the time of putting this cache down, new town houses were being build, and nearby is a small park and playground for the geokids to play on.

The cache is a small container with some camo appropriate for the hide.

It contains a log book and a small card for the First to Find.  BYO pencil.
Probably no room for swaps.

This is my first cache hide, and I’ve had my eye on this location for a while.
Any feedback on my first hide would be welcome.
