We found this picnic area off Tower Road in the Warby-Ovens National Park and stopped to admire the view. Thought it was a fitting place for a cache so we put one here.
A pleasant spot for a picnic, a BBQ, a tea/coffee break or to pause and take in the view towards Yarrawonga. There is a picnic table and a fireplace with BBQ plate but no toilet block or running water. Please remember to take your rubbish with you and respect the area. This is also a part of the local Yorta Yorta aboriginal community’s country.
The cache site is about 70 metres from the picnic area and out of sight of muggles who may be there at the same time as geocachers.
It is a medium plastic screw-top container in camouflage colours.
Contents at time of placing were a logbook and pencil, coin, cloth patch, ring, key, hairclip, motorbike charm, geocache sticker and various animals & insects.
