Deze cache is niet moeilijk te vinden. Of toch? Te voet kom je er niet. Dat verklaart de T5-rating. Eenmaal bij het eiland is het gewoon een kwestie van goed kijken. Behalve wanneer je in het voor- of najaar komt, want dan wordt het waarschijnlijk bezet door grote groepen ganzen. Deze vogels zijn beschermd en ze kunnen gemeen happen, gebruik dus je verstand en laat ze met rust.
Je hebt een boot nodig om het eiland te bereiken. Aanleggen kan bijvoorbeeld bij N51.44.352 E005:54.065. Zwemmen is mogelijk, de overtocht is hoogstens 50 meter en er is hier nauwelijks stroming, maar ik zou het toch niet aanraden vanwege de pleziervaartuigen die van en naar De Mookerplas varen.
LET OP:
De cache ligt op een terrein van Leisurelands. De terreineigenaar stelt enkele voorwaarden waaraan geocachers zich dienen te houden. Zo mag op deze locatie alleen tussen 6.00 uur 's ochtends en 22.00 uur 's avonds naar de cache worden gezocht. Tussen zonsondergang en zonsopgang is het terrein NIET toegankelijk. Indien geocachers overlast of beschadigingen veroorzaken, wordt de cache verwijderd. Overige bepalingen zijn te vinden in het terreinreglement. |

This cache is not hard to find. Or is it? By foot you will not find it. That explains the T5 rating. Once at the island, it's just a matter of looking around. Except in the spring or autumn, because then it will probably be occupied by large groups of geese. These birds are protected in The Netherlands and they can bite viciously, so use your common sense and leave them alone.
You need a boat to get to the island. A suitable place to go ashore is N51.44.352 E005: 54.065. Swimming is possible, but I would not recommend it because of passing vehicles sailing to and from the Mookerplas.
CAUTION:
The cache is located on a site of Leisurelands. Geocachers should keep to the conditions of the site owner. One of these is that the site is NOT accessible between sunset and sunrise. Geocachers may search for the cache only between 6.00 AM and 22.00 PM. If geocachers cause trouble or damage, the cache will be removed. General conditions can be found in the site regulations. |
