A Flash Mob for International Geocaching Day, in
Athens Georgia, at the worlds only Double Barreled Cannon.
Located at the intersection of College Avenue and Hancock Avenue.
At the North side of Athens City Hall.
Event Timeline.
Stay away from the Cannon until 11.30AM. Stay in your car or walkaround, but you need to act like you don't know anyone!
11.29AM, make your way to the Cannon, still acting like you don't know anybody.
11.30AM ianssouthern will open an ammo can at the Cannon signaling the beginning of the event, you may then converge the area, sign a log sheet and place it in the ammo can. Now you may mingle with your fellow cachers.
11.40AM Immediately assemble around the Cannon for a group photo, with your G.P.S.
11.44AM One log sheet will be drawn and that person will win a trackable Geocoin.
11.45AM LEAVE the area! Ammo can is closed, if you missed the signing and the photo you missed the event.
