Geocache Description:

This series aims to give you a little information about wildlife of the Southeast.

Raccoons are mainly nocturnal but can sometimes be seen in the daytime. They have dens in hollow trees or crevices and live in the woods or scrubs and may even live in your town. Raccoons can swim very well and can run up to 15 mph!


These roads are rarely traveled but be aware of others who do use the road. You can pull over enough to easily not block the road to retrieve this cache.
