GaTrailblazers: Due to local land owner(s) repeated, stepped up harassment of cachers and missing caches as of late, we have decided to archive this series to protect cachers and geocaching in general.

Although none of the caches were more than 5 feet from the road and trespassing wasn't required, this is the best decision for all involved. Thank you to everyone who came out to hunt these caches and to those who performed maintenance. It was a fun run!

Geocache Description:

This series aims to give you a little information about wildlife of the Southeast.

Sand Fiddler's can be found on the Atlantic coast. Males have 1 pincer greatly enlarged while females have 2 short pincers. Sand Fiddler's hide in burrows and eat detritus(non-living particulate organic material) at low tide. They can be found in salt marshes, mudflats and calm beaches.

Cochran Road is rarely traveled but be aware of others who do use the road. You can pull over enough to easily not block the road to retrieve this cache.
