Geocache Description:

Located along a stretch of scenic Rte 116 in Scituate, this cache offers a nice view of Betty Pond at any time of the year. Though the grass is usually cut, beware of poison ivy in summer and watch your step on the embankment. The memorial dedicated to the person who died was swimming (illegally) and tragically, drowned.

I have been driving past this spot for years and I always slow down to admire the view. The cache is a small Rubbermaid container nestled among the rocks in the outer wall facing the road. The niche isn't deep but it hides the box very nicely. Please be sure to put it back precisely in the same spot.
