We began geocaching as bushwalkers. Then we began calling it bushwalking with a purpose.
Over time we discovered the social side of geocaching through accidental meetings. After a year we decided to brave the Christmas Event Cache. This was an amazing experience where we got to experience how open, welcoming and interesting other cachers were.
In 2010, I was lucky enough to meet a fellow caching nut who would become a mate, namely bikerbuddy. Through time our friendship grew and now our families regularly catch up socially and to go caching. We both have only boys, who love getting together to muck up.
A favorite topic of conversation while on long Blue Mountains walks revolves around how we see the world. Now, bikerbuddy sees the world through letters and sentences, all I can see are numbers and patterns, maybe if the two were combined we could solve some of the great geocaching mysteries!?!
For all the cachers attempting the insanity of the infamous mystery cache called "The Hundred Days", to you I say, enjoy! I hope this cache is easily solvable and not as difficult as that one. Good luck!
