Come Check On Me, Linda Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

HTBob: Well, it saddens me to have to archive this cache as it holds many fond memories. I did walk around the GZ area to see if I could find the missing container and see if it was possible to find a suitable spot to locate a replacement and I came to the conclusion that archiving was the best solution. The tree that is referenced in the description that Linda always would check on has fallen down and thus the premise of this cache is no longer applicable if I relocate it. Also, relocation would be a little tricky as there are other caches and multi-cache waypoints in the area that would limit how far I could have moved this without being too close to an existing cache anyway. Lastly, I have recently moved to Florida and by archiving this, it is one less that my friends will have to maintain for me.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located very near one of the very first caches my late wife, Linda, and I found when we first started geocaching.

This cache is named in memory of my late wife, Linda, who used to walk this track almost daily. As it is near the walking trail, “The Green Monster”, as locals call it, she used to check on it quite often when she would be walking the track to make sure it was still okay. Please be careful when finding the cache as it can be a high muggle area, which is why the previous cache near here was archived. There is plenty of parking near the walking track.

If you don’t find it, please post a DNF log. That way I know people are looking, but not finding it. First to find are ca$h, some neat swag and FTF bragging rights. BYOP

Congratulations to Cachert12 for FTF!!!!
